When it comes time to change the old factory exhaust, take a look at the STC replacement. It is a simple "bolt-on" installation that gets the hot exhaust away from the nose bowl. Other benefits are less back pressure, a replaceable ball-joint tailpipe, and a vastly simplified crossover system.
